I spent a career working for PaDoT running the county shop in Erie. Since Erie County is the snow capital of Pennsylvania I learned a bit about snow removaI and equipment. As a retirement project I took up driving tractor trailer for a part-time "hobby". This put me on the consumer side of snow removal instead of the provider end. I have always been interested in old iron and currently have 3 Triumph sports cars, an IHC KB-2 and two Walter trucks. About 1999 is when I got caught up in the old snowplow equipment thing, buying my '65 ACRS in 2000 and then in 2003 getting the FMD. I started this site as an improvement over the original OshkoshOwners site, which got to be locked up and unreceptive and finally shut down. I hope the website grows and becomes somewhat of a reference point for collectors all over.

I remember the Walter Rotowing coming by our house when I was a kid. I lived in Houghton County Michigan where we got around 250 inches of snow each winter.
