about 10 years ago i was traveling down rt128 past the old state dpw garage in wellsley and parked at the fence was a three axle/ 10 wheel/tandem oshkosh it was wearing its front plow, no wingplow mounted and was in the current mass highway neon lime paint scheme. i have had numerous people tell me that every oshkosh mass dpw/mass highway ever had was 2 axle/8 wheel. they have all said it must be a mass pike truck you saw, just three problems with that idea, wrong color, wrong location, and way,way too old as the pike rigs a decade ago were all 1987's with six 2003's joining the pike fleet 4 years later. please,please i beg of you tell me i wasnt seeing a mirage that day and most of all please tell me you have a picture of one, i dont care if it is a polaroid, please post it or i will be willing to send you 10 dollars for you to make a copy of it at a wal-mart/pharmacy picture center. much like a one legged cat trying to bury a turd in a teflon frying pan, im desperate. it can be orange/black or the current neon mass highway green im not picky, ive been kicking myself for not getting off 128 and buying a disposable camera and blasting off all 24/27 pictures and i would have tried to get permission to drive up to it and photograph every inch from hood exaust stack to sander spinner......... please help
